The home of Royal Bengal Tigers, Bandhavgarh National Park is in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This biodiverse park is known for its large population of Royal Bengal Tigers, especially in the central Tala zone. Other animals include White Tigers, Leopards and Deer. The mix of tropical forest, Sal trees and grassland is home to scores of bird species, including eagles. To the south are the remains of the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort.

History of Bandhavgarh National Park, the most popular national park in India is located in the Vindhya Hills of Umaria district in Madhya Pradesh. Declared as a national park in 1969, Bandhavgarh National Park is spread over an area of 1500 sq km. The name Bandhavgarh is derived from the most prominent hill in the Umaria region. The region of Bandhavgarh is rich in a large biodiversity, the place famous for keeping the highest density of Tigers in India. Similarly, the park also has the largest breeding population of various species of Tigers, Leopards, and Bear Deer. Over the years, the park has shown a huge increase in the number of Tiger species and that is why Tiger tourism is famous for attracting a large amount of tourists to its surroundings.

The park is divided into three major areas, known as Tala, Magadi, and Bamera, out of which the Taal region attracts a large number of tourists by offering opportunities to visit the Tiger. Park officials are also focusing on the Magdi Zone by providing more opportunities for the Tigers to spot. Elephant show is also organized in Magadi area of Bandhavgarh National Park to increase the chance of chance to the elusive king of the forest.

Bandhavgarh National Park has mixed flora ranging from tall grassland to dense sal forest and hence is inhabited by a wide variety of animals and birds. Due to the diverse topography, Bandhavgarh National Park offers ample opportunities to see majestic Indian Tigers and some rare animals such as leopards and sloth bears. Due to the high wildlife, it is becoming popular among tourists visiting India.

बांधवगढ़ राष्ट्रीय उद्यान का इतिहास, भारत में सबसे लोकप्रिय राष्ट्रीय उद्यान मध्य प्रदेश में उमरिया जिले की विंध्य पहाड़ियों में स्थित है। 1968 में राष्ट्रीय उद्यान के रूप में घोषित किया गया बांधवगढ़ राष्ट्रीय उद्यान 1500 वर्ग किमी के क्षेत्र में फैला हुआ है। बांधवगढ़ नाम उमरिया क्षेत्र के सबसे प्रमुख पहाड़ी से लिया गया है। बांधवगढ़ का क्षेत्र एक बड़ी जैव विविधता से समृद्ध हो रहा है, जिस स्थान पर भारत में बाघों के उच्चतम घनत्व को रखने के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। इसी तरह, पार्क में तेंदुओं और हिरणों की विभिन्न प्रजातियों की सबसे बड़ी प्रजनन आबादी भी है। पिछले कुछ वर्षों में, पार्क ने टाइगर प्रजाति की संख्या में बहुत अधिक वृद्धि दिखाई है और यही कारण है कि टाइगर पर्यटन अपने आसपास के क्षेत्र में बड़ी मात्रा में पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करने के लिए प्रसिद्ध है।

पार्क को तीन प्रमुख क्षेत्रों में विभाजित किया गया है, जिन्हें ताला, मागदी और बामेरा के नाम से जाना जाता है, जिसमें से ताल क्षेत्र टाइगर के दर्शन के अवसरों की पेशकश करके पर्यटकों की बड़ी संख्या को आकर्षित करता है। पार्क अधिकारी टाइगर्स को हाजिर करने के लिए अधिक अवसर प्रदान करके मैगडी जोन पर भी ध्यान केंद्रित कर रहे हैं। जंगल के मायावी राजा को मौके की संभावना बढ़ाने के लिए बांधवगढ़ राष्ट्रीय उद्यान के मगदी क्षेत्र में हाथी शो का भी आयोजन किया जाता है।

बांधवगढ़ नेशनल पार्क में मिश्रित वनस्पतियाँ हैं जिनमें ऊँचे घास के मैदान से लेकर घने साल के जंगल हैं और इसलिए विभिन्न प्रकार के जानवरों और पक्षियों का बसेरा है। विविध स्थलाकृति के कारण, बांधवगढ़ राष्ट्रीय उद्यान राजसी भारतीय टाइगर और कुछ दुर्लभ रूप से तेंदुए और सुस्त भालू जैसे जानवरों को देखने के लिए पर्याप्त अवसर प्रदान करता है। उच्च वन्य जीवन के कारण यह भारत आने वाले पर्यटकों के बीच लोकप्रिय हो रहा है।
